This past weekend, we made a day trip to Rochester, New York to check out the Lilac Festival in Highland Park! It was well worth the trip! Whether you enjoy the smell and color of the Lilac or simply want to go to enjoy some amazing Fun Fair food, this is a great event to attend. Less that two hours from Ithaca, Rochester has a great deal to offer. The largest free festival of its kind in North America, spring in Upstate NY is welcomed with three incredible weekends celebrating being together once again safely. Peek around every corner and you’ll discover wonderful gardens and exhilarating special events. There's a great deal of live music, too.
